Victim Identified that was Murdered in Meridian Last Night

The Meridian Police department has identified the victim that was murdered last night. A little after 10 pm Garryon Owens, 23 of Meridian was gun downed in the 2300 block of Hwy 39 North. Owens was rushed to a local hospital where pronounced deceased. This marks the 9th person murdered in Meridian this year. We pass along prayers to the family and friends of Garryon Owens during their time of grief.
