A jury in Oxford , MS has found Ernest Edwards Guilty of attempted Capital Murder of Judge Charles Smith, just a few minutes ago. The shooting took place on March 16,2020 in the parking lot of the Lauderdale County Courthouse as Judge Smith was going to work, it would take a year for investigators to piece together the crime and charge Edwards.
