Chicken Basket Robbery Suspect Arrested.

The Meridian Police Department took report for burglary that occurred at the Chicken Basket 903 Front Street during the early hours of May 20th. Officers spotted a black male in the area of Mill Street and 3rd Avenue on May 20th carrying product that was stolen from the Chicken Basket. He fled of foot and officers lost sight of him. Today they spotted him in the same area and were able to take him into custody.

Lamaurice Jenkins is charged with Commercial Burglary and his bond is $100,000.
