Arrest Made at Southeast for Possession of Handgun- Home on Buck Newell Road Shot AT .

The Lauderrdale County Sheriff's office arrested a 17 year student at a Southeast High School basketball game for possession of a handgun on school property. A fight broke out and the school deputy stepped in and stopped the fight.

The Sheriff's Department received a call at 9:41 pm that shots had been fired at a home in the 1800 block of Bunk Newell Road. The Sheriff's Department believes the two incidents are connected. More details to follow as the investigation continues.
